Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we feature top ten books or book related stuff according to each week’s topic.
Like the rest of my seasonal TBR lists, I’ll be featuring books published in that particular timeframe that I’m excited for instead of the actual ones I’ll be reading (because I can’t ever stick to a reading schedule for long). Fall this year spans from 22 September to 20 December so all the books listed will be the ones (currently set) to be released between then!
Top 10 Books On My Fall TBR List:
1. The Young Elites by Marie Lu (10/07)
I’m looking forward to anything Marie Lu writes after reading Champion. Plus, the protagonist of this book practically has the same first name as me—Adelina!
2. A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray (11/04)
Beautiful Cover + Parallel Universes + Mystery Romance = I MUST READ.
3. Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch (10/14)
I’ve seen tons of bloggers showering this one with great reviews recently. And the main character uses a chakram! You don’t get more badass and unique weaponry than that.
4. The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (11/04)
I’ve. Been. Waiting. YEARS. For. This. Long story short, the publication of this book had been pushed back for over a year and you have no idea how glad I am that it’s finally coming out this November!
5. Salt & Storm by Kendall Kulper (09/23)
Witches? Sailors? I’m hooked already.
6. The Body Electric by Beth Revis (10/06)
Dude. It’s Beth Revis. Beth Revis. I’d be crazy not to desperately pine after this.
7. The Walled City by Ryan Graudin (11/04)
The synopsis of this one sounds like it takes place in a dystopic Asian setting. Since I live in Asia (and it’s not often books are set here), I’m naturally intrigued. Did I mention it also seems action packed?
8. Breaking the Rules by Katie McGarry (12/08)
I’ve made it pretty known that I wasn’t a fan of Pushing the Limits but after reading the rest of Katie McGarry’s books, I’ve grown to really love them. So despite my burning hatred for Echo, I’m still looking forward to this one. Who knows, I might just end up not hating her anymore.
9. The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare, Maureen Johnson & Sarah Rees Brennan (11/11)
CASSANDRA CLARE. *runs off to fangirl*
10. Zodiac by Romina Russell (12/09)
I’ve got the ARC for this and the synopsis is definitely something awesome. Can’t wait to start!
Lets hope I can finish all these amazing books before winter comes (highly unlikely).
What books are you looking forward to this fall?

Same here! Though I’m kind of curious why it’s self-published when ATU wasn’t.

I really enjoyed THE WALLED CITY. It’s a great read. I haven’t read any of the others, but they ALL look good.

Thanks! I guess it’s because the whole theory of the fantasy world it’s set in is super cool, the awesome weapon on the cover, and the gorgeousness of the dover as a whole? I really hope it lives up to its hype though!
