In this action-packed and timely “Tarzan for the digital age,” Cade, a teen raised in the wilderness, is brought into modern civilization.

The forest is full of secrets, and no one understands that better than Cade. Foraging, hunting, surviving-that’s all he knows. Alone for years, Cade believes he’s the sole survivor. At least, until he catches a glimpse of a beautiful stranger…

Dara expected to find natural wonders when she set off for a spring break camping trip. Instead, she discovers a primitive boy-he’s stealthy and handsome and he might be following her. Intrigued, Dara seeks him out and sets a catastrophe in motion.

Thrust into society, Cade struggles with the realization that the life he knew was a lie. But he’s not the only one. Trying to explain life in a normal town leaves Dara questioning it.

As the media swarm and the police close in, Dara and Cade risk everything to get closer. But will the truth about Cade’s past tear them apart?

Tarzan retelling? Sign me up! I would practically read any YA novel that’s a retelling and have romance. Apart from Romeo & Juliet, I’m not a fan of that story in general. Anyway, I feel like the synopsis hints at a lot of mystery and so Wild really doesn’t seem like just another retelling. Can’t wait for this one and I bet JZ can’t either; she has a soft spot for Tarzan. ;)

What book are you waiting on this week?

    1. I tried requesting it on Edelweiss but got rejected, oh well, I’ll probably enjoy the physical copy better once it’s published anyway. XD
And I really hope you enjoy it once you get to it, it does sound like there’s a lot of potential in the story!

    1. Me too! Even I’ve never even thought of a Tarzan retelling before this! Ever. The author must be a big fan or genius (or both) to pick a tale that’s barely ever been retold.

    1. Ditto! To both Tarzan and R&J. Only my closest friends seem to get me about R&J being a far cry from a story about true love. But I think that’s because most people didn’t know Romeo had been 16 and Juliet, 13. Anyway, thanks so stopping by!
