Stacking the Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews where all the books we got recently would be featured – both physical and digital.
My haul this week includes…
For Review:
- The Break-Up Artist by Philip Siegel [via NetGalley]
- Martin King and the Space Angels (Martin King #1) by James McGovern
Borrowed:
- Split Second (Pivot Point #2) by Kasie West
Yes, I am well aware there’s a Divergent related picture up there that’s not a book. However, it’s book related so I thought I should include it anyway. It’s the Divergent IMAX FANFIX™ poster created by Victo Ngai and is my 2nd bookish item that’s limited edition (the first being my signed The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones poster), I got it when I went to re-watch Divergent in IMAX with some friends this past Wednesday. There’s nothing better than being able to admire and ogle Theo James on a gigantic screen and hear his attractive voice through crystal clear speakers. Excuse me while I drool. ;)
Moving on to the actual things I’m stacking my shelves with, thank you Harlequin Teen for providing me an eARC of The Break-Up Artist! As some of you might know, it was on my list of Top Ten 2014 Debuts I’m Excited For and I simply cannot wait to get started on it! Also, thank you James McGovern for providing me a copy of Martin King and the Space Angels for review! As it involves both sci-fi and romance, I’m sure that’s the equation for success… to making me love it.
Lastly, Split Second! Um, I think I’ll go fangirl somewhere safer (where I don’t risk accidentally knocking my laptop off the table). But well, I’ve not made my love for Kasie West’s books a secret after loving both Pivot Point and The Distance Between Us.
What books have you been stacking your shelves with this week?
I adored Split Second. I hope you like it too! Happy Reading!

I really want to start reading Pivot Point series. :) I’m just crazy about time travel. Happy reading and have a great weekend!

Pivot Point’s not really about time travel, more of the protagonist’s ability to see the various possible outcomes when she’s faced with a choice. But it’s still awesome and I hope you’ll like it when you get to it!

That Divergent is so lovely, I want it! I’m hoping that The Break Up Artist is as good as it looks.

DIVERGENT POSTER. *fangirls crazily and risks own laptop* That is sooo awesome. ;) I looked at The Break up Artist and reeeeally nearly requested. But. I’m drowning in my TBR at the moment. No more books for me until I can see my floor again (it’s covered in books, because, you know, that’s cooler than covering a floor with carpet -_-)

Haha! I almost didn’t request it too but well, I don’t have as much self-control as you do (shame on me!). Good luck clearing your TBR! Though I do kinda wish I could cover my floor with books instead too. ;)
