Series: Dust Lands #3
Publication Date: 13 May 2014

Saba is ready to seize her destiny and defeat DeMalo and the Tonton…until she meets him and he confounds all her expectations with his seductive vision of a healed earth, a New Eden. DeMalo wants Saba to join him, in life and work, to create and build a healthy, stable, sustainable world…for the chosen few. The few who can pay.
Jack’s choice is clear: to fight DeMalo and try to stop New Eden. Still uncertain, her connection with DeMalo a secret, Saba commits herself to the fight. Joined by her brother, Lugh, anxious for the land in New Eden, Saba leads an inexperienced guerilla band against the powerfully charismatic DeMalo, in command of his settlers and the Tonton militia. What chance do they have? Saba must act. And be willing to pay the price.

After reading Rebel Heart more than a year ago, I’m in serious need of a big dose of Jack. Who’s cares if Saba made horrible choices? All humans do. What matters to me is that my ships sail! May can’t come soon enough…
What book are you waiting on this week?
I loved Blood Red Road but haven’t read Rebel Heart yet. I’ll get to it once this one is out so I can marathon these last two books! Great pick, Adelena!

I loved Blood Red Road too! As for Rebel Heart, my advice is that you should read it with an open mind. It wasn’t as good as Blood Red Road (missing some Jack, I would say) but it’s still very engrossing. Read it soon!

I’m so on the fence about this…I loved BRR but was on the fence with RH, especially the ending…

I noticed many fans were a little iffy about Rebel Heart, originally I was too, but I then felt a little guilty judging Saba’s bad decisions so harshly because who knew if I would’ve done the same in her hard situation? Anyway, I’m still really looking forward to finding out how the trilogy ends. And also kind of hoping DeMalo dies. Thanks for stopping by!

I definitley need to re-read the series when the final book comes out. The events are all so hazy, although I do remember the general gist of what happened

I probably should too, if only I only more time… Or you could check out if this website that that specifically do recaps on books has recapped BRR & RH, I think its URL is recaptains.com. I’m not completely sure though so you should probably Google them instead. :)
