Stacking the Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews where all the books we got recently would be featured – both physical and digital.
My haul this week includes…
Borrowed:
- Crash Into You (Pushing the Limits #3) by Katie McGarry
- Pawn (The Blackcoat Rebellion #1) by Aimée Carter
- If I Stay (If I Stay #1) by Gayle Forman
- The Bitter Kingdom (Fire and Thorns #3) by Rae Carson
After reading Dare You To by Katie McGarry, I was really excited to read Crash Into You (despite disliking the first book of the series, Pushing the Limits). As for Pawn, I’ve read Aimée Carter’s Goddess Test trilogy which was pretty okay but I do hope Pawn would be faster paced. Some of you might’ve noticed that I’ve already borrowed another edition of If I Stay from the library a few weeks ago but that copy had some mysterious stain that really stank so I borrowed another copy instead. Anyway, I do prefer hardcovers to paperbacks! Lastly, The Bitter Kingdom. Guys, there’s a map. A MAP. Ever since the first book, The Girl of Fire and Thorns, I’ve been dying for a map of Elisa’s world in this fantasy trilogy! If I’d known there would be a map in the last novel, I would’ve snapped a picture of it to refer to while reading the first two novels. Oh well.
What books have you been stacking your shelves with this week?
I really enjoyed Pawn, hope you enjoy it too. Man I love Katie McGarry, she is just amazing

It’s always good to hear good things about books I’m going to read, I really do hope Pawn’s better than the Goddess Test trilogy!
