Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we feature top ten books or book related stuff according to each week’s topic.

This week’s topic, the top 10 books I’ve read so far in 2013. This list is mainly made up of books that left me emotionally unstable. ;)

Top 10 Books I’ve Read So Far in 2013:

Clockwork Princess

1. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

Loved the characters, world & simply everything about it. Who can resist Shadowhunters? Oh yeah, and I cried so much at the bittersweet end.

Renegade

2. Renegade by J.A. Souders

Fast paced, mysterious and downright gruesome. I was simply swept away by this haunting story.

Scarlet

3. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

I SHIP SCARLET & WOLF. Need I say more?

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

4. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

Uncomplicated, sweet and heart-warming. The best contemporary I’ve read so far.

Clockwork Prince

5. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

One name, one word. Jem Carstairs. Shadowhunters.

Asunder

6. Asunder by Jodi Meadows

One of the most unique and beautiful stories I’ve ever read. Ana is also a wonderfully good-hearted protagonist.

Requiem

7. Requiem by Lauren Oliver

Love, revolution, friendship and ALEX. Totally my cup of tea.

Shades of Earth

8. Shades of Earth by Beth Revis

Utterly fascinating and amazing. It doesn’t hurt either that there’s no love triangle.

Prodigy

9. Prodigy by Marie Lu

That ending. It killed me. I need Champion, the final book now.

Deity

10. Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Great romance, Greek mythology and a kick-ass protagonist. I’m hooked.

  1. WOW!! There are so many books on your list that I wish I could have read! I haven’t read anything by Cassandra Clare and I’ve pledged to start Mortal Instruments this year. This Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight was a favourite contemporary of mine last year too :) I’ll need to add so many of these books onto my To-Read List!
